This pleasant patient underwent Mohs surgery for removal of a large basal cell carcinoma skin cancer of her nose. The resultant defect involved her nasal skin, nasal cartilage structural framework, and internal nasal lining. She subsequently underwent a three-staged reconstruction of her nose with a paramedian forehead flap, septal mucoperichondrial hinge flap, inferior turbinate mucosal flap, septal cartilage graft, and auricular cartilage graft. This is her 6-month postoperative photo. The patient also underwent dermabrasion and an auricular composite graft to correct alar retraction.
