This very pleasant young woman had her earring tear through her earlobe. This often occurs as result from many years of wearing heavy earrings, an earlobe that is pierced in an improper position, or from trauma to the lobe. This caused some distress to the patient who wanted to continue to wear earrings and wanted to restore symmetry to her earlobes. She underwent a simple repair in the clinic and her ear was repierced as part of her procedure.
