This pleasant patient underwent removal of a large melanoma in-situ skin cancer involving his central forehead. After confirmation of clear margins, he underwent forehead reconstruction with bilateral advancement flaps. This is his 3-month postoperative photo. No revision surgery was required.
This pleasant patient is immunosuppressed after a kidney transplant and has developed numerous skin cancers. He recently developed basal cell carcinoma skin cancers involving his right brow and right temple. After removal of these skin cancers with Mohs surgery, he underwent reconstruction of his surgical defects with O-T plasty bilateral advancement flaps to reconstruct his brow and a cervicofacial SMAS rotation advancement flap to reconstruct his temple.
